Write Your Term Paper Effectively

Write Your Term Paper EffectivelyBefore you begin writing your own term paper, it is important to understand the difference between cause and effect essays. Just because you have a problem with your teacher or when you started cheating does not mean that it is the problem. What happened before the incident or situation was not the cause of the problem. It is important to understand that while cause and effect are related, they are not the same thing.Although they are similar terms, cause and effect are different from each other. A cause can be a matter of fact. An example would be a wedding. The bride and groom both got married or perhaps the son got in an accident and so his parents are now divorced. An effect cannot be seen or 'seen' to happen. Example: You walk down the street and see a store closed. You then see someone walking out of the store. If you saw that person enter the store, that person will be considered to be a cause. You did nothing to cause the closing of the store.C ause and effect are, in essence, just similar to each other. Both involve external situations or events. Both involve an effect or result that is an outcome of a previously stated cause. There are some differences between cause and effect though.Cause is not action. In other words, if someone is accused of cheating, they did not do anything to cause the cheating. Whereas if you drink more than what you should, you did do something to cause the problem and therefore the problem was 'caused'.Effect is not like a wake up call. In the above example, the relationship could have been saved. In the case of cheating though, it was not a wake up call because the cheating was already there and the issue was already decided. The next time someone asks you why you cheat, you can just say 'I was already an alcoholic before that'.Cause is the starting point for a lesson. Effect should not be used for any other purpose than to start a lesson. Use effects as a way to get your point across, if you h ave nothing to write about. If you have nothing to say, you can just skip to the next essay topic. If you know what you are talking about but cannot remember the topic of your essay, use an effect to add it. For example, you do not know the time in which an event occurred, use a cause to find the time. By using effect, you can use it as a springboard to talk about the subject, and you know the topic of your essay.
